We are The Floral Society.

We create thoughtfully designed floral, garden & home goods inspired by nature. Founded by Sierra Steifman of New York’s boutique floral house Poppies & Posies, we are driven by a love of flowers and dedicated to sharing our expertise with others. Established in 2018, The Floral Society designs and develops tools and objects to awaken the inner creative, encourage the budding florist, and inspire communities to gather. There’s a seat for everyone at our table.

Come on in.

In our design studio form follows function, and function is driven by a constant collaboration with nature.

We’ve channeled years of experience creating floral landscapes and sumptuous tabletops into the deliberate design of essential tools for such pursuits. The objects we make are informed by the implements we require as floral designers to evoke the natural world, as well as inspired by the elemental shapes, textures, and colors found within it.

Our taper candles borrow their hues from blooms and the shifting tones of the season. Our floral clippers are equally at home by the kitchen sink or in the studio, having been field-tested for extraordinary durability against stem or branch. Everything we create is purpose driven, intended as immediate heirlooms and modern artifacts to tie our everyday lives to the forest, the field, and the garden.

Changing leaves, a flourishing flower bed, a handful of foraged treasures –– nature is our constant inspiration, and our purpose is to provide the tools and palette required to bring more of it into our lives and homes.

For our community: Where creativity grows.

In building The Floral Society, we envisioned forming a community for creative exchange. We strive not only to make objects of desire, but to inspire our community to live and share a more considered life. In providing tools and tutorials to facilitate the crafting of beautiful gatherings, it is our hope that we may spark a reconnection between people and a longing to return again and again to nature.
