We collaborated with our friend, Anne-Marie, of Pirtti, to naturally dye our flower camp t-shirts using her signature plant dying process. Each t-shirt in this limited edition run is bound with string before being submerged in the dye bath. The color must seek out the fabric to adhere to it, resulting in an organic pattern of color that ebbs and flows in depth.
Quebracho Rojo & Pomegranate were used to create a golden pink dye Osage & Iron were used to create a nature-inspired green Cutch & Madder were used for a rich terracotta hue
Which camp are you in? Inspired by a beloved vintage find, we selected the softest, pure cotton t-shirts with a lived-in feel, and commissioned our in-house creative extraordinaire, Rosalie Ho, to hand draw illustrations that reflect some of our favorite flowers: Foxglove, Rose, and Poppy. A small run of our 100% cotton t-shirts were expertly hand screened in Brooklyn. Pick a camp and come on in!
Poppy: the namesake of our in-house floral studio Poppies & Posies, the poppy is a resilient flower that can be found growing in an icy tundra or an arid desert. A memento of peace and remembrance, the poppy symbolizes positivity and optimism.
Kindly note, each t-shirt is unique and one-of-a-kind. There may be slight variations and patterns due to the organic nature of the dye process.
